DOG REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

The information submitted on an application is the sole responsibility of the individual signing it, and application remains the property of the National American Alsatian Registry™.

 

Class A: Multiple generations registered with NAAR. Sire and Dam on litter applications must be registered with the NAAR either before or at the time the litter is registered.

     Yellow- Pet/Companions

 

Class F: Foundation stock (first time registration with NAAR): registration applications submitted individually, without having been registered as a part of an entire litter, whether or not sire and /or dam are registered with the NAAR with documentation as to proof of breed or mix.

Litter registered, one parent either sire or dam on litter application not registered with NAAR, but are registered in good standing with another kennel club.

 

PET: Documented as such and may be spayed or neutered and is registered with the NAAR.

 

SERVICE: Dogs that have met certification requirements as a service or therapy dog such as guide dogs, dogs for the deaf, READ dogs, Search and Rescue dogs, Companion Assistance Dogs.

To Register A Single Dog:

1. Complete the Single Dog Application and send the $19.00 fee to: NAAR Schwarz Kennels 4175 Winnetka Rd. White City, Oregon 97503.

 

2. If available, place the sire and dam and litter numbers of the other kennel club in the correct places on the application. please specify this fact. (Photo copies of the other registration may be attached to form for ease of completion).

 

Each Registered Single Dog will get a unique American Alsatian™ Registration Certificate and registration number.

 

Classification Data from applications will be used to determine proper classification in the event that your dog's papers were lost or never issued.

 

 If your dog is not an American Alsatian™, or is an import or a mixed breed of Malamute, Shepherd, and Mastiff then the following items will be accepted as proof for this dogs:

    1. Classification: Photocopies of another club (example AKC, UKC) registration or application.

 

      2. OR Four photographs of the dog, one head view and one each side view and one Rear.

 

      3.  OR a Letter from a licensed veterinarian stating what your dog is.

 

Data submitted on and with NAAR applications will be used to determine proper classification.

Pedigree Information Form

 

            This form is to be used to obtain background information from the NAAR on the ancestry of your dog registered with National American Alsatian Registry (NAAR).

            As the owner of the dog, complete the OWNER SECTION of the form and then enter the dog’s NAME, REG #, BREED,, COLOR, and SEX on the reverse side of this form. Submit the form to the breeder and have the breeder of the dog enter the background information.

            Background information for COLOR and REG. #s is optional. The breeder must record at least three (3) generations on the dog. 4th generation information may also be included if it is available. The breeder must also complete the BREEDER SECTION on the front side of the form, sign it, and have it notarized to verify that the background information is accurate and true.

            After the form is completed and mailed to our office, we will enter the background information into our records and print out a Records Check Document for the dog.

The Owner must fill in the dog’s NAME, REG #, SEX, BREED, and COLOR. The breeder must enter the names of the ancestors for three generations. Color and reg. #s is optional. The breeder may also enter background information for the fourth generation, if it is available, in breeder notes below.
